Bedeutet auf Celtisch Land des ewiges Jugendtum, ist in Berlin 1991 geboren. Jass Dempsey, Designerin und Gründerin von Tír na nóg, hat damit angefangen Hüte-Kopfschmuck für den Berliner KunstMarkt und diverse Läden wie 7'ups (Bleibtreustr. Berlin), Contra (Hakescher Markt. Berlin ), Kleidung (Senefelderstr. Berlin), Tagelage (Harz. Halle), The Hat Shop (Craft Centre. Dublin), Viva Diva (Karoliny Sürtle, Praha) zu machen.

Aufträge für Theater Veranstaltungen in Süddeutschland wo Sie nicht nur Kopfschmuck sondern ganze Kostüme angefertig hat, hat Sie auf die Idee gebracht moderne Mode zu machen und zu entwerfen. Sie reizt inmer noch verspielte, einzigartige, detalierte Stücke, die viel zu sagen haben, weil Sie meint Mode ist eine Art ein Statement zu machen, ein ganz individuelles Statement.

Auf ihren Streifzügen durch Trödel Läden, FlohMärkte und Museen, sieht Sie immer etwas das Sie inspiriert was neues zu erfinden, seien es Worte im einem Buch, ein StoffMuster, oder ein Eindruck von der Umgebung. Die Natur ist für Sie die größte Inspirations Quelle. Von Blumen, Blättern und Farbkombinationen gibt's nichts originaleres sagt Sie. Klar ist sie auch mal begeistert von den grossen Designern. Vor allem bewundert Sie Christian Lacroix, Anna Molinari und Galliano.

Mode Trends lassen Sie mehr oder weniger kalt. Wenn man die unbedingt folgen will, muss man die Kunst könnnen, die so zusammen zu stellen, dass alles der Person plus die Kleidung verlockend und individuell aussieht, dass ist die Kunst. Die Leute die Mode kaufen und tragen - sie sind die Künstler.
Jass macht Mode für Leute die interessant und natürlich schön aussehen wollen, die Stil und Selbsttbewustsein haben und nicht unbedingt das Bedürfnis haben eine bekannte Marke zu tragen.

Imagine some kind of a Blade Runner scenario. Constant rain, strange vehicles whistling by, industrial science fiction mashines emitting weird metallic sounds, an old fashioned chinese melody from the noodlemans radio and a lonely figure muttering and chanting strange melodies.
Add a mixture of tribal drum sounds, electronic beats, shredded guitar playbacks backed by pumping bass effects and you´ve got Rope. Rope is different from anything you´ve ever seen or heard. The fascinating element of this band is its qualiy of improvisation. Besides being excellent musicians they are masters of creating new atmospheres with every gig - no concert is the same, every live appearance evolves into a new mix of what they had already and what they´ve just found the other day. Even the amount of musicians on stage varies depending on the mood of the evening.
As a result of this crossover-mixing of life and electronic, blues and millenium feeling, Rope manages to achieve the rare quality of being avantgarde and timeless at the same time.
You´ll be humming their melodies when you leave the venue and your bones will ache because you´ve danced like you did when you were raving for the first time.
Rope sample, loop and remix themselves somewhere between the outlines of folk-songwriting and digital hardcore, modal 70´s influenced jazz and electronic dub stuff.
